What is Aadhaar PVC Card?

The Aadhaar PVC Card is the latest form of Aadhaar introduced by UIDAI. Unlike the old paper card or long letter, this is made of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) material, making it waterproof, durable, and easy to carry in your wallet just like a Debit/Credit card.

How to Order Aadhaar PVC Card?

You can order even if your mobile number is NOT registered with Aadhaar.

Visit Official Portal

Click the “Order Card” button above to visit myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. Select the “Order Aadhaar PVC Card” option.

Enter Aadhaar Number

Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Number (UID) or 28-digit Enrollment ID (EID). Enter the Security Captcha code.

Mobile Verification

If Mobile is Registered: Click “Send OTP”.
If Mobile is NOT Registered: Check the box “My Mobile is not registered”, enter any alternate mobile number, and click “Send OTP”.

Make Payment

After verifying OTP, you will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay ₹50 using UPI (PhonePe/GPay), Net Banking, or Credit Card.

Download Receipt

Once payment is successful, a digital signature receipt will be generated. Download this slip as it contains the SRN (Service Request Number) to track status.

Cards are usually dispatched within 5 working days. You can track the printing status using your SRN.

Q: How many days does it take to receive the PVC Card?

Usually, UIDAI hands over the card to India Post within 5 working days. India Post (Speed Post) may take another 5-10 days depending on your location.

Q: Can I order for my whole family with one mobile number?

Yes! Since you can use a “Non-Registered Mobile Number” for OTP, you can use your single phone to order cards for all family members one by one.

Q: Is this PVC card valid everywhere?

Yes, the Aadhaar PVC Card is equally valid as the Aadhaar Letter, e-Aadhaar, or m-Aadhaar for all government and non-government purposes.

Q: I lost my SRN number, what to do?

Check the SMS on the mobile number you provided during the order. UIDAI sends the SRN via SMS upon successful payment.
