How to Book Appointment (Step-by-Step)
Visit ASK Portal
Click the “Book Now” button above to open ask.uidai.gov.in.
Login
Enter your Mobile Number (or Email) and Captcha. Verify using OTP. (You don’t need Aadhaar linked mobile for this).
Enter Details
Select “New Enrollment” or “Update Aadhaar”. Fill in the required details (Name, Aadhaar No, etc.).
Select Center & Time
Choose your state and city. Select the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra. Pick a Green (Available) date and time slot.
Confirm & Pay
Review details. If there is a fee (₹50/₹100), pay online securely. Download the Appointment Slip.

Q: Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Yes. You can reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the slot time. Refunds for cancellations usually take 7-10 days.
Q: Do I need an appointment for Mobile Number update?
Yes. Even though mobile update doesn’t require documents, booking a slot saves you from standing in the queue.
Q: Can I book for my family members?
Yes. You can use one mobile number to login and book appointments for up to 4 family members.
Q: What if I am late for my slot?
Most centers allow a grace period of 10-15 minutes. If you are very late, your slot may be given to someone else, and you might have to re-book.
